Fabiano Caruana

Fabiano Luigi Caruana was born in Miami, Florida in 1992. He moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York, in 1996 and soon started playing chess. He became a grandmaster on 15 July 2007 at the age of 14 years 11 months and 15 days, the youngest-ever grandmaster from the United States, and also the youngest-ever from Italy (as Caruana holds dual citizenship).
